Drew Zachmann serves as Vice President, Executive Search at StevenDouglas, where he partners with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies to build the leadership teams that drive value creation. His practice centers on the small to mid-market PE landscape, helping sponsors stand up and scale platforms, alongside select engagements for privately held and public companies.

With more than a decade in executive search, Drew leads C-Suite, VP, and Director-level searches across Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as technical and M&A leadership roles. Industry agnostic by design, he works closely with deal teams and operating partners to turn an investment thesis into a hiring plan, from the first executive hire at a new platform to building out the full leadership suite or partnering with already established leadership teams looking to expand their talent bench. Clients value his high-touch, hands-on approach and his candor as a trusted advisor.

Drew began his career in audit at a Top 20 national CPA firm, giving him a firsthand understanding of the financial lens sponsors bring to every hire. He has since built his search career at several nationally ranked firms earning President’s Club honors along the way. He holds a Bachelors & Masters in Accounting from Georgia Southern University and an ACT Leadership & Performance Coaching Certification from Brown University. An Atlanta native, you can usually find him hiking with his dog, on the tennis or pickleball court, or cheering on Atlanta’s pro teams.
