StevenDouglas Promotes Jamie Javorsky to SVP of IT Division
StevenDouglas, a nationally-known Search and Interim Resources firm, has made the move to consolidate their IT division in South Florida under one leadership structure to streamline resources to better support our clients who have found it difficult to acquire top IT talent in this high-demand U.S. job market. Leading the effort internally, is Jamie Javorsky, now SVP of IT, overseeing the Search, Staffing and Consulting practices.
StevenDouglas, which has recently been recognized as the #1 recruiting firm in Florida, has been rapidly expanding their presence across the U.S, as well as in Canada and Latin America. The firm is projected to exceed $50 million in revenue in 2018, and a huge part of that growth is in the IT Division, which has now expanded capabilities to service niche areas such as CyberSecurity, Cloud and Data Analytics. Additionally, StevenDouglas acquired Tallience in early 2018, expanding the firm’s IT Search and Staffing presence in DC, and added an office in Atlanta as well to further bolster capabilities up and down the east coast.

The need to maximize the synergies of StevenDouglas’ entire IT practice is in direct response to demand, and the firm staying ahead of a highly competitive marketplace. IT jobs are among the fastest-growing for the next decade, according to a 2015 Bureau of Labor Statistics report. And in June 2018, Business Insider reported hiring managers for IT jobs said skills in cybersecurity, cloud, data analytics, Internet of Things, and converged infrastructure are the highest-value, according to a report from Cisco and market intelligence firm IDC.
