In 1984, Steve Sadaka, our Founder and CEO, left Price Waterhouse and launched StevenDouglas as a Finance and Accounting focused search firm based in Miami. Over the years as the firm’s reputation grew, our clients naturally started to request that we expand into different disciplines. In 1993, the firm established our Information Technology search business and the mid 90’s expanded into Human Resources search. Along the way, executives that we were placing in critical roles would request assistance with special projects and key initiatives that they did not have the internal bandwidth or expertise to complete. In response to these needs, the Interim Resources division was launched with a focus on the firm’s core foundational disciplines of Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, and Human Resources.
What differentiates our firm from our competitors still to this day, is our discipline expertise approach to the business. In each of these practices, we have market leaders, client service directors and recruiters that are fully dedicated to a specific discipline year round and they are experts in these particular fields.
