StevenDouglas Solidifies Firm Growth into a National Recruiting and Interim Resources Brand that’s Getting Noticed

With fourteen offices across the U.S. and Canada, team and capability expansions, event panels and awards, StevenDouglas proves it continues to be a national leader in recruiting and interim resources.

Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. – November 01, 2018 – The numbers don’t lie.  StevenDouglas has been growing at a staggering rate over the last ten years.  They’ve opened new locations across the country to service clients, and now are actively doing business in Latin America and Canada.  Growth has been a trend for StevenDouglas, achieving five consecutive years on the Inc 5000 list, becoming ranked in the Top 50 Recruiting Firms in America by Hunt Scanlon, and expanding their service offerings.  Based on current 2018 run rates, revenues will eclipse $50m for the first time, and the company will have grown over 1000% in revenue since 2005.

As recruiting firms around the country take advantage of the booming job market, and turn recruiting into a numbers game, StevenDouglas is determined to keep growing the firm by putting people first.

“Regardless of the job market, it is a priority for StevenDouglas to work with integrity, and make sure we are always doing the right thing by our clients and candidates. We’ve always operated this way, that’s probably why I’ve worked with some of the same companies for over 40 years.”, said CEO Steven Sadaka.

StevenDouglas was founded in Miami in 1983, and since then, it’s grown to be the #1 Executive Search firm in Florida, with six office locations across the state.  The firm, headquartered in South Florida, is well known as a great place to work and has tremendous stability in an industry known for turnover.  The company is also very philanthropic and not only donates generously, but just as importantly encourages employees to take on leadership roles at non-profits and helps raise significant money for local causes and community organizations.

CNBC reported earlier this month that job openings have reached record highs, citing the U.S. had more than 7 million job openings at the end of August — the most since records began in 2000. The Labor Department said that available jobs outnumbered jobless workers who were actively seeking work by almost 900,000, also the most ever.  Not only is the job market outpacing the amount of qualified job seekers, but the types of jobs are changing and the way companies are using technology to hire workers is evolving.  Recently, Matthew Shore, President of StevenDouglas, moderated a panel on “How AI is Revolutionizing Recruiting and Hiring” at the Harvard Club of New York City.

“As an industry, we are evolving to leverage technology to become more efficient and effective in how we deliver our services, while adjusting to the new ways job seekers approach the market and communicate with potential employers.”, said Mr. Shore. He continued, “While we want to take advantage of the new technology out there, we intend to continue to be the trusted advisors that our clients and candidates count on to support a high-touch hiring process and provide the highest quality talent to their organizations.”
