Director – Research

As Vice President of Research for Steven Douglas, Mr. Rubio manages all facets of the search process including; name generation, candidate assessment, and company identification.

Prior to joining Steven Douglas Associates, John spent six years with Heidrick and Struggles, where he was the Research Associate in charge of Latin America and the South Florida region. During his tenure he handled all research responsibilities and identified candidates for high level positions within the major industries.

John was born in Bogota Colombia, raised in Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma focusing in International Business, later he transferred to Florida International University where he finished his studies with an International Business B.B.A.
