Steven Douglas Associates Expands, Adds Technology Consulting

Matt Shore - 40 Under 40 Award Technology is expected to be a bright spot amid a shaky economy, and Steven Douglas Associates is seeking to expand its niche.

The Weston-based search firm has carved out a national executive search clientele in fields such as finance, accounting, health care and human resources, but just added Jack McCarthy as managing directing for technology consulting in South Florida.

McCarthy has brought along Adrienne McGill, who was his recruiting manager, and anticipates adding a couple more staffers later this year.

McCarthy has a background in desktop systems, database usage and enterprise resource planning, involving products from companies such as Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. He previously worked at Dataforce Corp. and launched CPS, a subsidiary of Compuquip Technologies, in 2008.
