Mr. Sparling boasts a diverse background as a business executive, consultant and retained executive search professional. His extensive executive search expertise includes chief executive officers, presidents, chief financial officers and senior executives in almost all business disciplines and industries. Steve’s consulting skills in leadership dynamics, executive assessment, teambuilding and executive coaching lead to understanding and insight into the personalities and emotional intelligence of key business professionals from a search perspective.

Steve’s background as a senior operations executive and senior staff executive has added to his quick delivery of topnotch leaders for his clients. In these varied capacities, he has worked for such organizations as UNOCAL, Burger King, Ralston Purina, Stouffers, Telecomputing, Inc., Hospital Corporation of America and many others.

Steve was born and raised in Iowa and graduated from Truman University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He served as an officer in the Army during Vietnam and attended the Army Adjutant General School. A physical fitness advocate and a former national weightlifting champion, Steve also enjoys motivational and business leadership speaking.
