Director of Client Service – South Florida
As Director of Client Service, Vivian Carballo-Lara is focused on building Steven Douglas’ South Florida Project Resource Division, primarily within the Accounting
& Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Audit related areas.
It is Ms. Carballo-Lara’s broad-based experience and customer-focused
approach which has enabled her to assist clients in meeting their goals. Her
ability to understand clients’ needs and focus on helping companies achieve
their corporate objectives has allowed her to gain the trust and respect of many business leaders with whom she established and continues to maintain long-term professional relationships.
Ms. Carballo-Lara has more than 15 years of experience as a Sales and Marketing Executive with various world-class Professional Services Organizations and is well known for delivering outstanding client service. Prior to joining Steven Douglas Associates, she spent over 15 years in progressive leadership roles with Coopers & Lybrand, Arthur Andersen, and Deloitte where she was responsible for marketing and selling all services including Audit, Business Advisory, Tax, Human Capital, Valuation, and Business consulting. Her client base included public and private Fortune 1,000 companies in numerous industries and throughout the Florida/Puerto Rico marketplace. Most recently she was Director of National Marketing and Business Development for a Management and Technology Consulting firm.
Ms. Carballo-Lara, a Native Spanish speaker, received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Florida International University where she is currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration Degree. Throughout her career, she has been active in many professional and civic organizations including National Association of Corporate Directors, Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce – HR and IT Committees, Association for Corporate Growth, Women Executive Leadership, IT Women, Back on Track Network, Switchboard for Miami, American Heart Association, and American Cancer Society to name a few.
